The lagoon

The lagoon in front of the house

A white-sand bottom, knee-deep water for a few steps, then turquoise, then deep blue. You may see leopard rays and reef fish. A small sandy beach appears at low tide; the shore is protected by a rock wall. Across the lagoon, at the reef, is the small Irihonu pass.

  • Outrigger canoe, kayaks and paddleboard

Frequently asked questions

Before you book

Why book direct rather than through a platform?

You deal directly with the owner, with no platform fees. As checked on 4 October 2026, the same house is listed 10% to 20% higher on Airbnb and Booking, depending on the dates. The terms are those of the rental contract, which you read before signing.

How do I book direct?

Write to Natea with your dates and the number of adults and children. She checks availability and sends you the house rules and the contract. You transfer the advance payment within 7 days of the contract being signed by both parties, otherwise the dates are released; the booking is confirmed in writing once the advance payment is received.

How many people can sleep in the house?

Twelve at most, babies and children included: three 15 m² bedrooms with a king bed, and a 64 m² open mezzanine with a queen bed, two king mattresses and a cot. The mezzanine has no door. Visitors are welcome during the day with Rameha’s agreement, but may not stay overnight.

What is the minimum stay? What are the check-in and check-out times?

Two nights minimum. Check-in from noon, check-out before 10 am. You set your departure time with Rameha when you arrive. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible depending on other bookings, if agreed in advance; without agreement, leaving after 10 am is charged as an extra day.

How does payment work?

An advance payment of 30% of the rental price, transferred within 7 days of the contract being signed by both parties, then the balance and the tourist tax 30 days before arrival, by bank transfer. If you arrive less than 30 days after signing, the full amount is due at signing. The client’s own bank charges are at their expense.

What if I cancel?

More than 60 days before arrival, your advance payment is refunded. Between 60 and 30 days, it is kept. Less than 30 days before, or if you do not turn up, the full price of the stay is due. We recommend cancellation insurance.
