Who is responsible for your data?

Which law applies?

French Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, data files and civil liberties, which applies in French Polynesia and refers to the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The supervisory authority is the CNIL.

What this website collects

The website has no account, no contact form and no booking file: it does not store any request. The price calculator runs in your browser.

When you submit the calculator (“Price my stay” or “Calculate the quote”), your dates and numbers of adults and children are placed in the page address (for example ?arrivee=2026-11-02&depart=2026-11-09&adultes=10&enfants=2). Like any web address, it is sent to the server that displays the page, in particular when JavaScript is turned off. No name, email address or phone number is asked for or sent this way.

Like any website, the host records technical connection logs (IP address, date and time, address of the page requested including these parameters, browser type) to run and secure the service. They are kept for the host’s own retention period, which will be stated here. The website uses no audience measurement or advertising tools (see cookies).

When you write or call

When you email or call Natea, she receives your name, contact details, dates, number of guests and messages. They are used to answer your request and, if you book, to draw up and perform the rental contract (pre-contractual measures and contract). For the tourist tax and accounting, some data is kept to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or sign you up to any newsletter.

Who has access?

• Natea, to manage the request and the booking.
• Rameha, the on-site manager, for your arrival: your name, number of guests, arrival time and phone number.
• Our technical providers, for that purpose only: the website host (Aratika Solutions, on Lovable’s infrastructure) and email (Google, for tahitibh@gmail.com).
• Public authorities, where the law requires.

These providers may store data outside French Polynesia.

How long?

Your emails are kept in Natea’s mailbox (Google, tahitibh@gmail.com). A request that does not lead to a contract is only used to answer you and is deleted no later than 6 months after the last exchange. You can ask for it to be deleted earlier at any time.

If you book, the contract, correspondence and payment records are kept for as long as needed to perform the contract, defend our rights and meet our legal obligations, including accounting. The period for each category will be stated on this page before online booking opens.

Your rights

You may ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, or restriction of its use, or object to its use, by writing to tahitibh@gmail.com. We reply within one month. Deletion cannot cover data the law requires us to keep or data that proves a contract during its retention period.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may contact the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL), www.cnil.fr.

Online booking

When online booking, the contract signature and the secure guest area are launched, this policy will be completed before they open (data collected, ID document, signature evidence, retention periods, providers and countries of storage).
